ami vitals Mental and physical health

The lifestyle of human is ever changing. From the way we walk to the way we talk, everything has been changing. We become the bridges to the new societal and economic changes. But, all is well until these changes boomerang back to us with its adverse effects. The actual side we humans fail to understand. Humans are victims to the so called ‘lifestyle diseases’ such as diabetics, high/low blood pressure, cardio vascular diseases, cholesterol, asthma, obesity, lipid disorders, anxiety and many more.

During the earlier days, farming played a very vital role in everyone’s physical and mental strength. Unlike those day, human have grown mentally strong but physically weak. Physical inactivity is a prime reason for death, disease and disability. It increases and doubles the risk of circulatory disease, type II diabetes and corpulence.

*Some studies show that walking briskly for even one to two hours a week (15 to 20 minutes a day) starts to decrease the chances of having a heart attack or stroke, developing diabetes, or dying prematurely. Physical inactivity (lack of physical activity) has been identified as the fourth leading risk factor for global mortality (6% of deaths globally).

Amidst the rising competition, we, humans forget to keep a watch on our health. In the fast pacing scenario, it is practically not possible to avoid such circumstances. But, we can surely take a watchful step ahead keeping our health in mind. We need to understand that only we are health enough, would be able to be part of this competition. Otherwise we’d be ruled out.
