With its new product "BOLT" American Megatrends International (AMI) has brought together its expertise in medical software and its expertise in hardware and firmware in the character of the Internet of Things.

BOLT consists of wearable hardware and an app for Android, iOS and Windows. The hardware package includes sensors for measurements on the human body - hence "wearable" - and a router, which transmits the measured data to any (portable) device on which the app is installed.
